Ten Iowa Lakes softball players have been named to the ICCAC All-Region team. Outfielder Christy Cabrera was named co-offensive player of the year and catcher Ashley Heiberger is co-defensive player of the year. Joining them on the first team is pitcher Julia Nealer, utility player Chistianne Saiz, outfielder Adrianna Tabone and designated player Pricialla Quintana. Two other received second-team honors and two more were named honorable mention all-region. The Lakers will play next Thursday, May 13 and Friday, May 14 in the districts, for the right to go to nationals.
