The fifth-ranked Iowa Lakes volleyball team has captured the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference title in 2011, after posting a perfect 9-0 record in league play. The Lakers finished off their championship run with four wins at the ICCAC Showcase at Marshalltown on Saturday. ILCC swept through matches against Southeastern CC (25-13, 25-13, 25-20), Clinton CC (25-16, 25-20, 25-11), Southwestern CC (25-16, 25-20, 25-14), and #11 Kirkwood (25-23, 27-25, 25-13). Iowa Lakes boasts an overall record of 29-8 and will host NIACC on Wednesday. They will also host a Regional Semifinal match on Tuesday, November 1.
