In the opening round of the girls Class 1A basketball regional, Cornbelt Conference rivals Armstrong-Ringsted and Harris-Lake Park engaged in a defensive ballgame that the Lady Wolves would eventually win, 34-26. HLP never trailed in the game and was paced by sophomore Lydia Brandt, who scored 14 points. Fellow sophomore Mariah Gath dropped in ten points, including two three-pointers.
