North of the border it was the final night of regular season high school football. Jackson County Central capped their year with a resounding 46-0 win over Windom. The Huskies finish 6-2 on the season. Worthington took a 27-6 loss on the road to Redwood Valley, and ends the fall at 3-5. Martin County West suffered a lopsided setback in their finale, dropping a 53-0 decision at home to Waterville-Elysian-Morristown. MCW is now 5-3. And Fairmont emphatically capped their regular season with a 47-14 beat down of New Ulm to improve to 7-1. The Minnesota high school football playoffs will begin Tuesday, October 25.
