Friday, in Minnesota, Jackson Speedway
promoter Jon McCorkell and the Racing Committee of the Jackson County
Commissioners had their annual season wrap-up meeting, and both sides announced
that they have verbally agreed to a one-year extension on the McCorkell’s
current lease of the Speedway.
McCorkell
says they may try to set up more Friday/Saturday double-header shows, and work
to pull in more traveling teams.
