Nailbiters for the Iowa Lakes softball team yesterday, as they traveled to Iowa Central for a mid-week doubleheader. Game one ended with the Lakers on top by a 2-1 final and game two was much the same, this time with ILCC taking it 5-4. Iowa Lakes finishes the regular season with a 19-5 record in region play, and have clinched the number two seed in the upcoming regional tournament.
