The
Iowa Lakes Community College
head men’s basketball coach Troy Larson announced the signing of Morgan
Traylor. He will be joining the Laker basketball program this fall.
Traylor,
a 6-foot-6-inch forward from Worthington
High School in Worthington, Minn.,
was selected first team All-Southwest Conference as a senior as well as first
team All-Area from the Worthington Daily Globe.
During
his senior season, Traylor scored 450 points, an average of 17.3 points a
contest while grabbing 286 rebounds, 11 rebounds per contest. Traylor helped
lead Worthington
to a 17 – 9 overall record this past season.
“Morgan
comes from an outstanding program with Coach Vorwald. He understands how
to play hard and has good basketball sense. He really runs the floor, is
bouncy, and will be able to chase balls for us.” Commented Head Coach

Iowa
Lakes Men’s basketball is coming off an outstanding 2012 – 2013 in which the
Lakers won the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) regular
season title for the first time in school history. The Lakers also won
the Region 11 championship resulting in Iowa Lakes
4th national tournament appearance. The Lakers are coached by Troy
Larson, who is entering his 7th year at Iowa Lakes
with an overall record of 122 – 67. Iowa Lakes
returns four players from the 2012 – 2013 team.
