In a proverbial Clash of the Titans, it was two teams recently dropped out of the Top 15 rankings in their respective classes, playing with something to prove, and better yet, it was a pair of conference rivals both sporting 3-1 marks in the league play. Spirit Lake and Spencer squared off on Tuesday night at The Fieldhouse and it was the Indians coming out with their best defensive effort since the beginning of the month, knocking off the Tigers 42-34. Spirit Lake (8-1, 4-1 Lakes Conference) had allowed four of their last five opponents to score 40 or more after allowing no more than 33 points to each of their first three opponents.
