Indians Take Tourney with Pioneers, Wolves, and Knights

The Spirit Lake volleyball was the top dog at the four-team Okoboji Tournament Tuesday night. The Indians won six of the seven games and finished with a match record of 3-0 against the Pioneers, as well as Harris-Lake Park and Graettinger-Terril. Alexa Rodawig paced the Spirit Lake attack with 10 kills. Whitney Berkland had 19 assists and eight aces, while three different Indians had double-digit digs. H-LP finished second, followed by Okoboji and G-T.

Okoboji ended with a 1-2 match record and was paced by Bryanna Wittrock’s 14 kills. Mikkinzie Peschong recorded nine kills and eight blocks, while Taylor Poppema had 28 assists, 17 digs, and Aubry Kolegraff notched 19 assists.

As for Harris-Lake Park, the Wolves went 2-1 in the tournament. Christine Larson registered 27 digs and twelve kills. Lydia Brandt had eleven kills and four blocks, and Macy Gunderson came through with 22 assists.
