Following their win Friday night, the Spirit Lake boys tried to make it two in a row Saturday at Sibley-Ocheyedan, but the Generals proved too tough in a 55-43 defeat of the Indians. Mitch Peschon’s twelve points led Spirit Lake, while Tyler Decker had a game-high 14 and Pat Alexander contributed a dozen for the Generals. Indians head coach Nate Loenser says the game hinged on whose style would win out. Spirit Lake is now 3-6 overall and returns to the floor Thursday against county rival Harris-Lake Park.
