In baseball action Tuesday night, Spirit Lake traveled to Sibley-Ocheyedan to battle the Generals, and the Indians earned a 14-10 non-conference victory. Spirit Lake tallied 19 hits, led by Mitch Peschon’s 4-for-5 effort, which included a home run, two doubles and five runs driven in. Tyler Dean, Cody Poock, and Casey Jones all had three hits a piece. The Indians return to conference play tonight against Emmetsburg, a game you can hear on KUOO Campus Radio beginning at approximately 7:15 with the pre-game.
Speaking of the EHawks, Emmetsburg dropped to 1-15 on the season with a 16-6 setback in six innings to Sioux Central.
