On the baseball field Spirit Lake dropped a high scoring contest at home to MOC-Floyd Valley by a 14-10 final. The Indians outhit the Dutchmen 10-7, led by Levi Davis’ 3-for-5 effort at the plate with three RBI. Zach Herrig also drove in three and Mitch Peschon brought home a pair. Spirit Lake is now 4-5 to start the year. Spirit Lake returns to Lakes Conference play this evening with a trip down highway 71 to battle Spencer.
