Thursday night was the boys regular season finale and Spirit Lake closed out the campaign with its second conference win, defeating Emmetsburg 54-48 on the road. The Indians got 18 from Mitch Peschon and 15 from Sawyer Harms. Nick Wuebker paced the E’Hawks with 18. The Indians finish the regular season at 7-14, 2-12 in the Lakes Conference while Emmetsburg falls to 13-7, 7-7 in league play. They’ll match up again on Monday night in the first round of the 2A boys tournament.
