Improvement for ILCC Golfers at NJCAA National Tournament

The 2nd round of the NJCAA Women’s National Golf Tournament was played at the LPGA International Legends course in Daytona Beach, Florida, on Tuesday. Iowa Lakes sophomores Macy Milburn and Meaghan Schmidt were both back in action. Day two was better for Milburn. The Estherville native carded a 93, improving nine strokes from her day one total. Schmidt shot a 103 for her 2nd round of the tournament.

For the tournament, Milburn is in a tie for 76th place with a total of 195. Meaghan Schmidt is in a tie for 88th place with a total of 203.
Daytona State College is in the lead with a two day team total of 597 (295-302). Daytona State also has the two low individuals. Round three will start at 6:40am Wednesday. Milburn will tee off first, at approximately 6:50am, while Schmidt will hit the links at 7:00am.
