The Iowa Lakes women’s golf team has two of its members heading to Daytona Beach, Florida for the NJCAA National Tournament. Macy Milburn, a native of Estherville, shot a two-day total of 186 at the Region XI tournament, good for tenth overall and a spot at nationals. Milburn is now a two-time qualifier. Her teammate, Meaghan Schmidt, will be going along with after taking twelfth with a score of 190.
The Lakers team total of 779 put them in third behind Iowa Western (713) and DMACC (737).
The National Tournament is held at the LPGA International Golf Course on May 14.
