The Iowa Lakes Men’s Basketball team are the Iowa Community Colllege Athletic Conference Champions out right with a 58-55 victory over Ellsworth Community College on Saturday. The Lakers finish the regular season 23-6 overall and 11-3 in conference play.
The Lakers were led by Deondre Parks with 16 points. Also scoring for the Lakers was Josh Schaben with 14, Ben Shellim with 11, Colton Neff with 10, Tate Harmon with 3, and Mark Miedema and Kevin Larson with 2.
The Lakers will be hosting their regional tournament games. The tournament games will be held Tuesday and Thursday at 7pm and Saturday at 3pm.
