Iowa Lakes took three out of four baseball games against Ellsworth over the weekend. The Lakers split Saturday’s doubleheader before sweeping on twin bill on Sunday by a combined two runs.
Lakers softball was rained out all weekend.
Congratulations to Iowa Lakes’ Macy Milburn, who shot 39-over par in the two-day NJCAA Regionals to qualify for the National Tournament in Daytona Beach, Florida from May 15-18. As a team, the Lakers finished in third place.
