Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn was back on the wrestling mats Friday night for a multi-team event at Western Christian. The Hawks came away with a 2-2 record in four duals. HMS defeated Dakota Valley, 54-18, and Laurens-Marathon, 54-30. However, the Hawks also took a 48-33 loss against West Sioux, and a 42-39 setback to Sioux City West. Nick Drenth (132), Dakota Drenth (145), and Brett Flynn (152) all posted four win nights, each with three by pin fall. Hank Voss (138) and Dakota Goodvin (126) both notched three victories and two wins by fall.
