Harris-Lake Park baseball went on the road Thursday night and earned a 10-4 win over Storm Lake St. Mary’s. The Wolves received a 3-for-4 effort at the plate from Tanner Hively, who finished with two RBI and two runs scored. Nathan Kyle was 2-for-3 with a couple runs scored, and Justin Bunkers went 2-for-4 and recorded an RBI and a run scored. Kyle was also the winning pitcher, going 6.1 innings and allowing just two earned runs on five hits.
On the softball diamond, the Lady Wolves won their second consecutive game, beating Sibley-Ocheyedan 3-1. Lydia Brandt and Macy Gunderson each went 2-for-3 with a run scored and Jena Peters was again the winning pitcher. Meanwhile, the Spirit Lake Indians were on the losing end of a 10-0 five inning ballgame at LeMars. That drops to Indians to 9-6 overall.
