Harris-Lake Park notched their thirteenth win of the season in blowout fashion Monday, defeating Round Lake-Brewster (MN), 77-37 in a non-conference boys basketball game. Eli Ihnen hit three three-pointers and finished with a game-high 17 points for the Wolves, who had all but two players get into the scoring column. Brady Nissen connected on seven field goals for 16 points, as HLP improves to 13-3. The Raiders were paced by Tim Kennedy’s twelve points, and fall to 5-6 on the season.
In other boys basketball action, Sheldon used a balanced scoring attack to defeat Spencer, 56-47 in an out-of-conference showdown. Four Orabs reached double figures, with Christopher Balster, Joshua Van Kekerix, and Jordan Dykstra each registering 14 points. Spencer’s Alex Hyde notched 14, as well, to pace Spencer, which fell to 2-12 on the season.
Laurens-Marathon handed Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn a non-conference loss, 64-55, last night. The Hawks are now 7-8 overall.
