Lake boys’ basketball
team raced out to a 20 to 8 first quarter lead on the road, Saturday, against
Corwith-Wesley-Luverne. They led 33-15
at halftime, 52-25, after three quarters of play, and improved to 4-3, with a
63-39 win.
Alec Henrickson scored 15 to lead the Indians. Paul Brown had 10 points and nine assists.
They get right back at it tonight, at home against unbeaten Harris-Lake Park.
It’ll be their third game in the last four days.

In other boys’ basketball, Saturday, Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn
topped Alta/Aurelia, 52-36.
South Central Calhoun downed Emmetsburg, 69-49.
The girls’ teams from HMS and South Central Calhoun were
also victorious.
It was Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn 43, Alta/Aurelia 35; and South
Central Calhoun 41, Emmetsburg 27.
