Harris-Lake Park and Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire had
their eyes on trips to the boys state golf meet, however, those dreams came to
an end Thursday at the Class 1A District meet in Spencer. GT/RA shot a 362 to
finish seventh overall, while HLP came in at 384, good for tenth. The Wolves
were paced by Nathan Kyle’s round of 91. Ryan Gembler pitched in with a 95, Tanner
Hiveley had a 97, and Connor Gunderson carded a 101. Blaze Alesch led the GT/RA
attack with a top-ten score of 86, while Ethan Peterson knocked in an 89, Kyle
Dalen registered a 92, and Dylan Smith had a 95.
