On the links, the Harris-Lake Park boys golf team defeated Graettinger-Terril and Ruthven-Aryshire in a triangular meet held at Hillcrest Golf Course in Graettinger. H-LP shot a 175, G-T a 178, and R-A came in with a 216. The medalist was Austin Jacobsen with a 42, which was decided by the handicap hole as a playoff. Runner up was G-T’s Cody Dyhrkopp. The Wolves also received solid rounds from Jake Ihnen with a 43, while Nathan Kyle and Connor Gunderson both shot a 45.
In the Siouxland Conference, the Okoboji boys fell six strokes away from matching MOC-Floyd Valley on their home course. The Pioneers shot a 156, compared to the 150 for MOC-Floyd Valley. Matt Ohl shot a team-best 36 to grab runner-up honors. Caden Thurgood was a shot back with a 37.
