“Cancer is a word, not a sentence.” We all know someone who has felt the effects of breast cancer, whether it is a survivor or a family member.
Teresa Alesch, beloved and dedicated Graettinger-Terril teacher, coach, and friend is feeling the effects of breast cancer. The Graettinger-Terril FFA, National Honor Society and Student Council are holding a Volleyball Tournament in her honor to show support and raise funds for treatment. The tournament will take place May 28, 9:00 AM, at the Emmetsburg High School. The tournament will consist of an adult bracket and a high school bracket with a maximum number of 16 teams in each bracket. Teams can be co-ed with six to 10 members, but please no more than half of the team can be made up of males. The cost to enter the tournament is $100 per team.
