In High School Girls Swimming, the Spencer/Spirit Lake Tigers were off to a great start in Sioux City at the 2012 Metro Pentathlon. Taylor Sieperda received 3 first place finishes in the 50 backstroke, 50 freestyle, and 50 butterfly. She took 2nd place in the 100 IM and 5th place in the 50 breaststroke. Cassidy Fox took 3rd place in the 50 breaststroke, 7th in the 50 butterfly, and 10th in the 50 freestyle. Emma Dau took 8th place in the 50 freestyle. Abby Goodenow had a 9th place finish in the breaststroke. Krista Determan had a 9th place finish in the 50 butterfly.
Next up for the swim team will be a meet in Sioux City on September 8
