Class 2A top ranked Western Christian advanced to the girl’s state basketball tournament on Monday night, beating Okoboji 86-48 in Sibley. The Wolfpack raced out to a 32-10 lead, led 53-28 at half, and 74-38 after 3. The Wolfpack had 4 players in double figures, led by senior Brooke Wolterstorff’s 16 points. They are 23-1 and will face Pella Christian on Monday, February 25 at 5:00pm. The Pioneers season ends at 17-7. Junior Darby Jones came off the bench to score 15 for Okoboji while senior Skylar Hansen finished up here career with 8 points. Okoboji improved their win total by 11 compared to a year ago.
