
Former Okoboji basketball player Magan Christopherson recently finished her time at DMACC and is now continuing her basketball journey at Willaim Penn University in Oskaloosa, IA.
Christopherson led the Bears in a number of offensive categories, including points, three-point field goals and assists. She scored 475 points and averaged 17 points a game. Christopherson shot 36 percent from the field, hitting 166 of 467 field goal attempts. She was 71-of-237 from three-point range for 30 percent and made 72 of 88 free throw attempts for 82 percent. Christopherson finished third in scoring in the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC). Christopherson’s season also included 137 rebounds, including 113 defensive rebounds, 100 assists, 45 steals and five blocked shots. Magan was named to the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJACC) Region XI All-Region Women’s Basketball Team on the first team.

William Penn University competes in the NAIA and they are a member of the Heart of America Athletic Conference.
