ELC’s Dahl To Play Basketball at ILCC

Iowa
Lakes Community College Women’s Basketball Coach Nicole Bullock has announced
that Estherville-Lincoln Central’s Macy Dahl be joining the Laker basketball
program this fall.

Dahl
is a 5-foot-8-inch guard who was selected second team All-Conference as a
sophomore, junior and senior.  She was a member of the ELC girls’
basketball teams that were state runner-up in 2011; state tournament
participant in 2012; and state runner-up in 2013.

She
led the Midgets in steals, last year, with a total of 71.

“We
are extremely thrilled to have Macy become a part of the program,” said head
coach Nicole Bullock.  “She brings an instant defensive presence which we
have been missing and the experience of playing on a championship team.”

Dahl
also lettered in volleyball, cross country, track and softball.  She was
named first team All-Conference for cross country as a junior and a
senior.  During the track season she was a member of the 4×400 team
earning a district championship and was a three-time state qualifier.  For
softball she earned second team All-Conference as a junior and their team has
been to state the past two seasons.

Macy
is the daughter of Jeff and Kay Dahl.  She is planning to major in Graphic
Design at Iowa Lakes.
