The Boys and Girls Cross Country teams from both Okoboji and
Spirit Lake
High school will be competing in the
District meet, in Holstein, this afternoon. The meet was postponed from last Thursday.
Spirit
Lake’s Will Norris goes
into it ranked Number One, in Class 2A, by the Iowa Association of Track
Coaches. His teammate, junior Tanner
Goetsch, is ranked 18th.
The Spirit
Lake girls also have two
runners ranked in the track coaches’ top thirty. Junior Dondi Schmidt is ninth, and senior
Mariah Wills is ranked 26th.
Okoboji junior Clare Eckard goes into today’s meet ranked 17th.
