Sibley-Ocheyedan hung around for three quarters but Harris-Lake Park pulled away in the fourth to pick up a 62-43 victory in boys Class 1A District 1 basketball on Thursday night. The Wolves led 17-11 after one and pushed the lead past 20 midway through the second quarter. Sibley-Ocheyedan would end the quarter on a run to make it 35-21 at half. A poor shooting quarter in the third led to a 45-29 H-LP lead. Wolves senior Eli Ihnen led all scorers with 23. He hit five 3 pointers. Senior Colin Brons had 19 points and 11 rebounds for the Wolves who improve to 20-2. Junior Ty Hanna led the Generals with 13 points. S-O’s season ends a 2-21. H-LP will host Trinity Christian on Tuesday night in Lake Park. The Tigers ended Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayshire’s season with a 52-38 victory in Hull. G-T/R-A finishes the year at 8-14.
