Even more postseason accolades are coming in for area softball standouts in 2011. The Iowa Sports Connection has released its list of all-state teams for each class. Spirit Lake sophomore Paige Krause is on the second-team in Class 3A and was chosen as an infielder. In Class 2A, Emmetsburg junior Faith Schmidt was named to the first-team as a pitcher, while Estherville-Lincoln Central junior Kendall Bosch was a second-team selection as a pitcher. North Sentral Kossuth/Armstrong-Ringsted is represented by two players on the Class 1A first-team. Sophomore pitcher Allie Ingalls and junior infielder Collette Haag were both honored. Ingalls was also named the Class 1A Co-Pitcher of the Year. The Iowa Sports Connection is a media group based out of Des Moines.
