We begin with a look at area softball results from Tuesday night. Behind 17 hits, the Spirit Lake Indians defeated Sibley-Ocheyedan 8-4 to improve to 10-7. Also in the Lakes Conference, Estherville-Lincoln Central narrowly got passed Spencer by a 1-0 final. Okoboji took the field against North Sentral Kossuth, however, NSK was the victor with a 6-2 win. Makenzi Anderson did hit a home run in a losing effort for the Pioneers. Graettinger-Terril outscored Harris-Lake Park in a 16-6 ballgame in the Cornbelt Conference. And Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn won 4-2 against West Sioux.
