Area Seniors Show Off Hoops Skills In All-Star Games This Weekend

Stars from this year’s high school basketball season will have one more chance to show off their skills when the Dordt College Defender Gold Club hosts its annual Pizza Ranch All-Star Games on Saturday. The two contests will feature a total of twenty senior girls and twenty senior boys representing schools from the Lakes, Siouxland, and War Eagle Conferences.

The girls will tip off at 5:30pm, and will feature Cara Vale from Spirit Lake, Ashley Mahrt of Spencer, Emmetsburg’s Paige Naig, and Alyssa Hibbing of Sibley-Ocheyeda, among others.

The boys will take the floor around 7:15pm, with participants including Sawyer Harms from Spirit Lake, Ryan Kliegl of Emmetsburg, and Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn’s Matt Queck.

The Pizza Ranch All-Star Games will be played inside Dordt’s De Witt Gym in Sioux Center.
