Wednesday, the 2010 State Wrestling tournament kicked off. Spirit Lake Park’s Doug Miner picked up a 10-2 major decision over Ballard’s Dillon Hansen. Miner will face Mitch Funk of MFL Marmac in Thursday’s quarterfinals.
Three of four Emmetsburg E’Hawks picked up wins in the first round. Isaac Lundgren lost twice and was eliminated while Skyler Rice, Jacob Morris, and Joe Naig all wrestle in Thursday’s quarterfinals.
