Comments From Spirit Lake Coach Tim Heinitz:

Wow! It;s hard to believe another XC season is upon us. it was a great night for
running and our teams are off to very good starts. We had some great
performances tonight and a lot of athletes ran either their first Xc meet ever,
their high school XC race ever, or their first varsity race ever! It was a fun
night watching all the athletes perform.I am extremely proud of the way we
competed and conducted ourselves at the meet. I am fortunate to have good
athletes as well as great young adults representing the team and school! Even
though things went well, we still have a lot of work ahead of us, but I know we
can accomplish a lot this season with hard work and great effort! A special
shout out to Gracen Arms for winning the JV girls race!!! I could not be more
happy for her! It was her first career win at any level!
