Traffic Stop Results In Arrest Of Sibley Man On Drug Charges

(Sibley)– A traffic stop this past Friday resulted in the arrest of a Sibley man on drug charges. The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office says 38-year-old Sirjio Bluearm was charged with four counts of unlawful possession of prescription drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bluearm was booked into jail on a $1,300 bond.

Estherville Has A New Mayor

(Estherville)– The city of Estherville has a new Mayor. Unofficial results from today’s (Tuesday’s) special election show Kenny Billings as the winner with 193 votes. The other candidate, Ann Goebel, received 51. Billings will serve the remainder of the term of Joseph May, who resigned last year.
