(West Bend)—Palo Alto county authorities are asking for the public’s assistance as they investigate vandalism that occurred to some playground equipment at the Grotto in West Bend.
The Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office says it received a report from the Grotto’s Executive Director stating that someone had damaged an airplane ride in the playground on the west side of the Grotto. It’s believed the incident happened sometime between 8:00 p.m. this past Wednesday, August 7th, and 8:00 a.m. Thursday, August 8th. The ride is valued at about $2,000 to $3,000.
