(Milford)—Cherish Center of Milford has a new Executive Director. Jon Pausley has been hired to the position by the organization’s board of directors.
Pausley served as Director of Student Ministries the past three years at Liberty Evangelical Free Church in Pella, Iowa.
Pausley is no stranger to northwest Iowa and Cherish Center, having served as Youth Director for five years at First Baptist Church in Spencer. During that time he also was a leader of Cherish Center’s No Apologies event, hosted several One in Heart Dinners and served as a relief houseparent at Cherish Center with his wife Shantel.
Pausley earned his Bachelor of Science in Theology from Baptist Bible College in Clark Summit, Pennsylvania and has served in youth ministry 13 years. He is also working to obtain a Masters of Divinity Degree, with an emphasis in Transformational Leadership.
Pausley and his wife Shantel have three children.
