The Spirit Lake High School
football team kicks off its postseason, tonight, at home against MOC-Floyd Valley.

Tickets, for tonight’s game, are available from 8:15 a.m. until
4 p.m. at the Spirit
Lake High
School office.
The cost is $6 apeice. You can
hear it on Campus Radio KUOO.
Also, the 2012 Spirit Lake Football Playoff shirts and yard
signs are in and there are some extras for sale. They will be available on a first come, first
serve basis in the High School Commons today from 2:00-5:30 today. Signs are
$10 each. Shirts are $10 and $15 and hooded sweatshirts are $25.
On Q102, tonight, you can hear Harris-Lake
Park at home, in 8-man playoffs, against
North Iowa.
The Wolves beat Remsen-St.Mary’s, 62-13, last Friday, when they were led
by the quarterback-receiving combination of Colin Brons and Eli Ihnen. Brons piled up over 350 yards, through the
air, as Ihnen caught 12 passes for over 240 yards. Bruns threw five touchdown passes, last week,
one of which was a 60-yarder to Ihnen.

The Emmetsburg E-Hawk football team is ranked number three
in Class 1A, by the Associated Press, and they are coming off of a 47-14 win,
last Friday, over Gehlen Catholic.
The E-Hawks gained over 500 yards on the ground, last
Friday, led by Allen Jensen, with 180 yards and 1 touchdown, and Andrew Wellik
with 147 yards and two touchdowns.
They’ll host Ridge View, tonight, in the first round of
district playoffs, and the game is yours on Y100. Coverage starts at 6:45 on all three
stations.
In other Class 1A action, tonight, South O’Brien is at home
against Manson Northwest Webster, and Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn is one the road
against unbeaten IKM-Manning.
In Class 3A, Spencer will pay a visit to ADM, Adel.
