Last night on Y 100 Boyden Hull eliminated Emmetsburg in a Class 2A Region 1 quarterfinal volleyball match. The scores were 25-16, 25-12, and 25-11. Boyden Hull advances to play Ridge View on Friday as the Raptors defeated Sioux Central 3 games to 0. Emmetsburg had 5 seniors play their last volleyball game Miranda Vlasman, Whitney Kibbie, Emily Noll, Britni Will and Jacque Carlson

Other 2A scores had Sibley Ocheyedan beating South O’Brien 3 games to 1 and HWC downed Rock Valley 3 games to 0. HWC and Sibley will play Friday in the other semifinal.
In Class 1A, George Little Rock ended Clay Central Everly’s season downing the Mavericks 3-0. Also, West Bend Mallard beat North Iowa 3 games to 1 and Laurens Marathon beat Storm Lake St. Mary’s 3 games to 0 and advance to play WBM on Friday.
