Tonight is Round Three of the District football playoffs,
and the Spirit Lake Indians will be on the road for a Class 2A matchup with
Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley.
The two teams have already met once, this season, as BH/RV
beat the Indians, 25-10, in late September.
Both coaches say the fact that tonight’s game is a rematch could be a
factor, for a variety of reasons. Here’s

That’s Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley Coach Cory Brandt, whose team
is unbeaten, and handed Spirit
Lake its only loss of the
season. Tonight’s winner plays, next
Saturday, against the winner of tonight’s matchup between undefeated West
Marshall, State Center and unbeaten Kuemper Catholic,
Carroll.

That’s E-Hawks coach Mike Dunlap, whose defense has shut out
its opponent in four of its last five games.
Tonight’s winner plays, next weekend, against the winner of
tonight’s game between undefeated Mount
Ayr and 10-1 St. Albert
Council Bluffs.
