High School Hoops, Wrestling Tonight

Tonight is ‘Pack the Gym Night’ at Spirit Lake
High School, as the Girls
and Boys Basketball teams host LeMars in their conference opener.

 

The Girls are 3-1, and are coming off a win, Saturday, over
Jackson County Central.  Their only loss
was to Bishop Heelan, one of the top-ranked teams in 4A.

 

The Boys are 2-0, with wins over Hinton and Valley Lutheran.

 

Nate Loenser says tonight’s game is important

 

That’s Spirit Lake Boys coach Nate Loenser, whose team tips
off at 7:45, tonight, following the girls’ game which tips off at 6:15.  You can hear both games on Campus Radio KUOO,
with coverage starting at 6.

 

At 6 o’clock, on Y100, you can hear coverage of the
Emmetsburg girls and boys on the road against Estherville-Lincoln Central.

 

Other high school games tonight…

 

Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire travels to Storm Lake,
Harris-Park hosts West Bend Mallard, Okoboji is home against Sheldon, and
Sibley-Ocheydan is on the road against MOC-Floyd Valley.

 

The Sibley-Ocheydan wrestlers host a double dual, tonight,
which includes Emmetsburg and Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire.  Sheldon-South O’Brien has a home meet against
Sergeant bluff-Luton, Lemars.

 

Up for the Okoboji Wrestling team is a home match against
Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn.  You can hear
coverage of that one, Thursday, on q102. 
Spirit Lake Park
will be in Estherville, Thursday, for a Double Dual with Western Christian and
Estherville-Lincoln Central.  Here’s
