Last night’s girls and boys basketball games between Okoboji
and Emmetsburg were postponed until January 21st, because of the
weather.
The Pioneer boys and girls are on the road against
Sibley-Ocheydan, tonight. Emmetsburg
hosts Western Christian, you can hear that on Y100, with coverage getting underway
at 6.
Also, this evening, the Spirit Lake High School Girls
Basketball team will look to bounce back from a loss, last Friday, to Western
Christian. Coach Rick Reinking says a
week of practice will have been valuable, as the Lady Indians prepare for tonight’s
road match-up with Estherville-Lincoln Central.
The girls’ game tips off at 6:15. You can hear it on KUOO, with coverage
starting after Santa’s Hotline.
That’ll be followed by the Spirit Lake
boys game against the Midgets. The
Indians are coming off an overtime win, Monday, over Harris-Lake Park.

Central, you can stop by the high school cafeteria, between 5 and 7, for a Taco
Tailgate. You can get a Large
Taco-in-a-bag and a drink for $5. All
proceeds benefit the ELC Activity fund.

Park boys and girls teams
are coming off wins, over Clay-Central Everly, on Tuesday. The Wolves will travel to
Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire tonight.
