Indian Boys Beat West Sioux Thanks To Decisive Fourth Quarter

The Spirit Lake High School Boys Basketball team started the
2013 portion of its season off on a winning note, Saturday, as the Indians were
on the road against West Sioux, and beat the Falcons, 48-38.

Spirit
Lake trailed by three at
the beginning of the 4th quarter, but outscored West Sioux, 17-4, in
the final frame, to pick up their fourth straight win and improve their record
to 8-3.  Paul Brown and Alec Henrickson
each scored 14 to lead the Indians.  Sam
Harms had 11 points, seven rebounds, and three steals.

The Indian girls and boys will travel to Emmetsburg,
tomorrow, to face the E-Hawks.  You can
hear both games on KUOO, with coverage starting at 6.

The Harris-Lake Park girls will look to bounce back from last
Thursday’s loss to George-Little Rock, tonight in Minnesota, as the Wolves pay a visit to
Ellsworth.
