The Spirit Lake Park Wrestling team was in Estherville for a
tournament, Saturday, where they beat Forest City,
43-36; they topped Bishop Heelan Catholic, 51-30; and knocked off Estherville-Lincoln
Central, 42-25. The Indians suffered a
60-17 loss to Linn-Mar, and fell to Blue Earth, 43-32.
The Indians’ Zach Skopec won all five of his matches,
Saturday, including three by pinfall. David
Trucksess had four wins, three by pinfall.
Doug Miner and Gage Roberts each won three matches by pinfall. Kenten Murray also won three, two by
pinfall. Jacob Jenness and Javier Tapia
each picked up two wins, with one pin apiece.
Brady Mart won one, by pinfall, for the Indians.
