The Okoboji Boys basketball team fell to Sioux Center, 73-35,
last night. The Warriors took advantage
of a size advantage, in the paint, as 6-6 sophomore Steven Kragt led the way
with 18 points.
Senior Keaton Jones led the Pioneers with 10 points, he was
one of seven Pioneer seniors to play their final game on the Okoboji home
court. The others were Weston Burgeson,
Dalton Poppema, Dalton Syverson, Tanner Downing, and Kolton Ray.
Okoboji finishes its season with a 4-17 overall record, and
4-14 in the Siouxland Conference. The
Pioneers will be on the road against Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn, Monday, in Class
2A Regionals.
