LETTER TO THE EDITOR
Dear Editor:
On behalf of the Okoboji High School Athletic Department, I would
just like to say ‘thank-you’ to everyone that participated in our recent Coaches
v. Cancer event during our 9th & Varsity basketball games
against Rock Valley on Friday, January 25, 2013.
Because of the support we received for this cause, the OHS
Athletic Department is very proud to be able to donate proceeds of this event
in the amount of $1,058.33 to the American Cancer Society.
The Okoboji High School Athletic Department is very proud to
have raised over $4,300 for the American Cancer Society the past two
years.
A special thank you to all our sponsors because without
their help, we would not have been able to do this event; Salon Eleven11, the Okoboji
Booster club, Oak Hill Marina, the Lakes News Shopper, Blink Marketing,
Northwest Iowa Sprinkler, Cutting Edge Sales & Service, Farmers Savings
Bank, the Three Sons, Lakes Regional Healthcare, and the Okoboji High School
Athletic Department.
