The
Spirit Lake
Park and Okoboji boys track teams each
placed first in their respective classes, yesterday, at the MOC-Floyd Valley
track meet.
Spirit Lake
Park got first place
finished from Will Norris, in both the 1600 and 3200 meter runs. Tanner Goetsch placed second in each of those
events.
The
Indians’ Tyler Peterson took first in the 400 meter hurdles, and second in the
110 meter hurdles. Trevor Jensen was
second in the 400 meter hurdles.
Tanner
Kroon was second in the shot put. Bryson
McCabe took second in the 100 meter dash.
Austin
Folsom was second in the 200 meter dash, and Paul Woizeschke finished second in
the 800 meter run.
For
the Pioneers, Jordan Hanna took first in the 800 and 1600 meter runs. Colby Kraninger and Ryan Chindlund placed
first and second, respectively, in the 3200 meters. Chris Albright was the top finisher in the
400 meter hurdles. Mark Nielsen was first in the 400 meter dash.
Jacob Sauter placed first in the shot put. Dalton Syverson was the top high jumper.
The
Hartley Melvin Sanborn boys took sixth in Class B. Brett Waechter took second in both the shot
put and the discus.
The
Spirit Lake Park Girls placed third.
Jenna McCoy turned in a top finish in the 100 meter hurdles. Dondi Schmidt placed first in the 1500 meter
run.
Emma
Dau was second in the long jump. Taylor
Sieperda took second in the 200 meter dash, and Mariah Wills placed second in
both the 1500 and 3200 meter runs.
