The Spirit Lake Boys Golf team took first in the Storm Lake
Invitational, Saturday. The Indians’
team score was 336. Zach Skopec was the
fifth place medalist after shooting a 39.
The Emmetsburg Boys Golf Team was the winner of Saturday’s
Okoboji Invitational at Emerald Hills.
The E-Hawks combined to shoot a 325.
Okoboji was second with a 329.
The Pioneers’ Tyler Ohl was the medalist with a 73.
Also, Saturday at Emerald Hills, Josh Frey (not competing in
a high school tournament) recorded his first ever hole-in-one.
