The Iowa Lakes Men’s Golf Team was in action at the Iowa Lakes Men’s Spring Invite. Iowa Lakes first team finished 3rd with a 314 while the second team finished 4th with a 315. The first team was lead by Ben Nath with a 75, Brandon Klein came in with a 77, Joe Dakken shot a 78 and Austin Sweeney fired an 84. Non-counting score was Jeremy Wollenburg with an 85. For the second team they were led by Blake Orton with a 73, Michael Pace shot a 79, Zach Carlson fired an 81, Ty Asa came in with an 82. Non-counting score was by Nathan Kyle with an 83.
Two players played as individuals Josh Coleman fired an 84 while Shawn Harmon came in with an 95.
“I feel we had a pretty good day. I know the guys would have liked to play better especially being our home meet. Tomorrow we head to Sioux City for another Tournament, lot of guys i think will play better. We just need to have more consistant rounds hopefully those guys can improve on them and get better.” Said Coach Soper
Tournament was won by NIACC with a 296, DMACC shot 303 for 2nd.
